I'm thinking a bit far ahead here. I need to get the MRC first, then get hold of a Speedway Pal body before I worry about the rest.

I think if/when I get the basic thing built and working then I'll start worrying about whether to go twin NiMH or LiPo, change pinions and motors etc.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
