I would say the most annoying bit is getting all the old rusty bolts off the sj. Might be worth giving them a blast of wd40 the night before.
Also i think there is a issue with the new bolts they send with the add a leafs. (or maybe it was just mine) They sent me 2 sets of new bolts to hold the leaf pack together. One set were to fat to fit through the hole in the leafs and the other set didnt have enogh thread on them. You can eaither add the extra 5mm of thred to the bolts if you have a tap & die set. Or i just bolted the plate that the leaves sit on to the leaf pack, which made up for the gap in the thread.

Did any one els have this problem?

just started on the front axle today, managed to get one side done but have struggled on the other side, lining the leaves back up with the u-bolts is being such a bitch! Should be able to sort it with Dad tomorrow fingers crossed.

However on the other hand I'm well stoked with the height I've gained on the side that I have done.

BFH? Big Fucking Hammer?

haha, been whacking away today, but I do find myself being a bit cautious. Tomorrow, she will be complete!

It looks like the rear axle is going to be easier, so fingers crossed.

the front axle is kind of done (just running it with the new leaf and the two standard long leaves on top for the time being so I can still get around), going to have to order some longer U-bolts from Dave tomorrow, as mine are way too short. Then next weekend I'll sort the rear out. It looks pretty wild right now with the front end that much higher than the rear, I'll post some pics in a min.
