The Standard YJ's turned up today and I have been able to have a good comparison of them and the lifted ones I already had.
The lifted ones are slightly shorter but due to the extra curvature of them I guess they would end up a similar length to the standard ones when laden.
They both seem to have the same small amount of flex when compressing them with my own weight on the lounge floor but I reckon the lifted ones will be a considerably harder ride.
Anyone know a good way of checking how much force is required to flex them up with them off the truck? If the weather is nicer tomorrow I might get outside and whip some leaves out of the lifted ones and see how soft I can get them.
Might try jacking the truck up and putting the spring upside down on a plank of wood to avoid damaging it and let the truck down gently on the center to see if its weight will compress the lifted ones in their complete form at all? Although this is in no way scientific and I cant see any real way of measuring the difference?

Leaf springs are measured along the length of the main leaf
Personally I would probably use the stock yjs with one leaf swapped out for one of the lift ones if you want a bit more height?
