Well that sure looks pretty but it's too clean, mind you i'd be scared to bend something in that good condition

Piglet 6 was sold today. (The blue one lol). I sorta did a part exchange with my mate who sells classic cars so I got a chunk of cash and this...1340 blueprinted engine with a spec sheet that is unreal. 108bhp, Spax adjustables, custom dash etc. MOT but she needs tidying and then selling on.

Thats a very nice looking Mini, bet the alternator is as powerful as Battersea Power station to keep those spotlights on full power.

If it were me, I'd be looking very hard for a way not to sell that!

Assuming I fit in it in the first place...

I know what you mean Anton...I have a soft spot for Minis, will get her insured monday and blat about for a while. Think a new build thread is in order as she needs some minor work.

Back to the LJ. Other side now done, just the usual minor surface rust and a few battle scars to fill. Only took about 3 hours from start to finish. Front end next...

All the bodywork is now done, finally. Just the front bumper and grille to finish...and that's been hand painted by a bloody moron in the past, it's taking an age to sand down. Can't put paint stripper on it or get it blasted as it's plastic!

I am afraid that new lighter green has just killed the look of that LJ,the darker green looked just right for it,and as for that Dark Blue one that was just plain drop dead sexy, that was a beautiful looking motor.

Good luck with the rebuild though
