Ed - I know that it's daunting to look at all that work - there's a fair bit to do.

But if you start at one corner, sand down a couple of spots, mix up a little filler (if it's needed, I didn't look that hard at your truck) and sort out one panel at a time, it's not that bad, mate. A little more sanding, then a coat of rattlecan white to finish.

You know you will regret not doing it.

One patch at a time. Looks like cak while you work you way round it but once they are all done just needs a flat off and full coat of paint!

Jordi - the only reason I said paint them was to stop rust creeping back in...

But yes, one little bit at a time, and before you know it, job is jobbed.

Ed - we only nag because we care. About your SJ...

:-D

Remember those springs I fitted last December? The gangster lean's gotten really bad. My SJ's getting pretty unstable when turning left and one of the rear springs top leaves is starting to bend round the second leaf.

I want to contact japanese4x4spares but I'm not sure the best way to approach it, plus I can't find the receipt. What should I do? I'm thinking e-mail them explaining the situation, and ask for either a refund or replacement, but if I ask for a replacement I'm just going to get more Lesjofors springs....

Are they nearby? If so go visit. If not did you buy them online? If so you'll have a receipt in your email inbox.
