It's one of two ways to do your timing on an SJ. This isn't the best place to talk about it though, this thread needs to stay pretty clean, it's for people to talk about forum restrictions. If you need to know more then it's best to start a new thread about it.

beast wont start
hi im in ultimate creep mode i have a 1992 vitara fat boy bin running fine up till today stuck key in activated immobilizer damn thing cranks over but wont start cant smell petrol yes its got some in lol suspicions point to wiring any suggestions please im desperate mot dew in a month need to sort this out fast thanks dale.

The only restrictions i know of are no access to the trading section or private messages.

im apart of the suzuki club in South Africa and i have got a pretty 1988 sj413
im looking for some parts ets. to modify her she is still standard at the moment
and parts for them are quite rare here on our side of the water

Johan - welcome to the forums.
You're best starting your own thread about this, not to many people will read this one. Include what kind of parts you want and/or what mods you want to do, so we have an idea of what you're after exactly. Also, how easy is it to import things from India to South Africa? They still make SJ413's in India (I think only the LWB though, and they call it the "Maruti Gypsy").

yes i know about the gypsy that they make there as far as i know they use the jimny's vvt engin in them

The Jimny VVT engine is the M13a. That's not what they use in the Gypsy, it's the G13, although these days it's a multi point fuel injected version of the G13BB - the 16v.
The Jimny came with either the VVT M13a (hard top) or the non-VVT G13BB (soft top) until about 2004, after which they all had the M13a.
Because the hard tops were made in Japan, the soft tops in Spain.
I'm 97.6% certain the above is correct.
We still don't know what you're trying to do, so we still don't know what parts you need. It's impossible to give you advice until you share a bit more!

Before 98/99 they were all on carbs running a G13, after that they still ran the G13 but with MPFI.Johan142 wrote:thanks Anton
