Nice one Steve re the pricing, it could be interesting.

2.5" more is quite a lot. This will result in either the wheel being 2.5" further forward/back or a long chassis extension on the front/rear. I dont think you will be able to make a pair of plain shackles for the rear to mount to the standard shackle eye when using the navara leafs you will have to move the spring eye. Also this will greatly decrease your approach angle if used on the front. Dont know about flex with the leafs being thicker but less of them turn the spring onto the eyes on the floor with the arch pointing up and stand on both different springs and you will be able to feel the difference

Guess you will want to use the navaras on the rear again and move the front mount a bit further forward than a standard YJ setup. Then you might get away with using a similar shackle length to a normal YJ conversion.

I'm not too sure that I'd want to use the navaras at that length to be honest, you would need to move the chassis mount 5.5" froward to get the same departure angle as YJs and that would put a lot of leverage on the original mounts.

Mmmmm, a bit of food for thought there.

So what I'm thinking, and feel free to comment.

Check springiness by bouncing on them. Obvious really, don't know why I didn't think of that.
Assuming OK, then continue with the plan to fit the Navara springs on the rear.
I take on board the extra length comments re departure angles or HUGE reposition of the front mount. Of the two I'd accept loss of departure angle.

So I think these are my options.

1. I've just had a quick look at the rear, rear spring mount and I think I could move that back a good couple of inches to accommodate the extra length.
2. Leave the mount where it is, and make a missing link set up for the rear only.
3. Re drill the springs to put the pin in the centre, and "absorb" the extra 1.1/4" in the mounts. (Longer front brackets, and maybe move the rear ones just 1.1/4")

I would strongly advise not re-drilling the springs as they will snap through the old hole. I personally would move the rear spring shackle eye back by 3" then I would make the chassis extensions into a rear bumper to absorb the overhang of the mounts
