i think the bumpstops are standard, maigh have a go at moving the axle tomorrow then..

try it, flex it up on full lock and see what happens.

im guessing its just a case of remove calipers and hang them up, remove bottoms of the shocks, remove u bolts, remove shackle bolts and pull the axle out and drill the holes? then slap it back together in the new holes?

Yes, make sure you measure from the original holes though and not the edge of the perches on the axle as they are different lengths.
Measure twice (or 4 times) and drill once, last thing you want is a wonky axle

right okay mate, will see what i can do tomorrow...
do you know the size of the hole? i can find out when i strip it tomorrow but will make it a bit easier if i know now..

Think they are 12/13mm it's been a while though. Also dont forge to centre punch before you drill to stop the drill bit walking and keep everything accurate.
