The china locker I think is something to keep your eye on, a mate is bringing them in to this country very soon, there the same as arbs but don't travel through the same heat treatment process. This means there not as strong, but there is no reason to say you couldn't have them passed through more heat treatment. That's what my mates is looked into doing, cryogenicly hardening Ect.

The Australians seem to love them. Arb tested them and they obviously slated them !! But then again I was told the posted price is around. £500 with a compressor for a pair !!

Cheers Mike, i will most likely take you up on that offer.

It'll be nice to drive some more modded Zuks than mine, give me an idea of what i will and won't like for future mods.

I think a locker would be useful for some sticky situations.

I've just read some reviews on those chinese lockers, only read a few but none were bad.

I am not so sure Scottie about lockrite on the road, someone needs to show me a sj that's being driven within its caperbilaties, and is dangerous to drive. I still can't see that they can be that bad on Tarmac, I can drive mine around my dads yard / car park and they don't lock. But I could be wrong I have never driven them on the road. I know people who have them in heavy offroaders on the road, cj7 and wranglers Ect. None of them have complained about them. But they are a great deal heavier do that may explain why.

At the end of the day, we would all have arbs. No question.

Lockrite a are good offroad, maybe not so friendly on road.

Kam are shit.

China 4x4? Well maybe lets see what becomes of them :)

LSD are stupid.

Welded diffs cheapest, most lethal option !!

Yeah thought he did. To be honest I would like to drive a suzuki with a welded diff and see what it performs like before I/if was weld mine up. Only thing puts me off doing it is that you have no control on it and you start breaking even more stuff.

Just add my two penneth to the lockrite on the road - i fitted a spool about a year ago to my daily driver, so its 100% locked all the time - never had an issue with it, ok it squeals a bit in tight turns but thats about it. Not noticed that much increase in tyre wear and off road its like night and day! Having said that I live in North Cyprus and most of the roads are like offroad :)
