You would think so but my guess is if you managed to 'temper' and laminate it, and to be road legal, without a 'DOT' approved mark it would fail an MOT?

most large glass places do automotive laminate glass, common enough among the hot rod community to have to get windows cut, but only flat not curved

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. But has anyone had a screen in the Cheshire area recently?

Some local toe rag has thrown something at mine and it's cracked top to bottom. I'm desperately trying to get the bloody thing back on the road.

Try www.prettywindscreens.co.uk , They fitted a new screen in my sj for £80 all in!!! They are based in essex but sure they have other depots in the uk
