fair enough  they do do a very good job as it is though, having the larger holes mean that the bigger lumps of mud just drain out as you're hosing down the interior ;)

This is very true, but I'm a sucker for water, and they will make it fill up quicker lol, right up the back of my leg haha.

I'm hopefully going to get an exhaust built for it tomorrow and possibly tank fastened up ( tank is just resting in place not piped up). Also I've got some tyres, I'm just looking for 5 16" steels for it, will swap bare steels for my 215 75 15 bf Goodrich a/t on 15" vitara rims

see what I'm going to do is attach a chain to mine, like a sink plug, you leave them in and then as soon as you're out of the water you can pull them out and drain any water that came in nice and easily

Ive also taken out the dashboard today ready for working around the windscreen area.

Had a few hours on the SJ today and got the 2 rear body mounts done, fuel tank bracket made and fitted the tank, and a bit around the bottom of the windscreen. also got the back door fitted back on, this time permanantly, its tiger sealed and riveted on. theres still so much more to be done, but i can see a vehicle now! im in need of a few parts before i go much further, so im looking into buying one to strip as you may have seen in for sale section.

I may have some 16" steels this week too so hopefully get the wheels fitted:)

some pics of today...

Thanks, yeah I'm yet to do leaf over axle, so that should give a bit of clearance

Well last weekend we got the sills started on, and a whole sheet of steel in from side to side under the rear arches above the fuel tank.

No work will be done on it this following weekend as I have bought another sj to break so I've got plenty of parts to crack on with getting my off roader put back together. Just about all welding is done so soon it time to grind up the welds and get the filler out. Then paint :). Well, leaf over axle first I think, but once painted, windows, lights, interior etc can go back in and fingers crossed for the MOT
