Re: Still Confused
I'm a believer is keeping the grilles that they came with. I think the 410 grille looks great on 410s, but prefer the horizontal grilles on 413s and samurais. It goes better with the extended wheel arches. Makes them look a bit wider that they are.
Whereas 410 grilles make them look narrow
Its so weird... I've just been to the house where they have all the SJs...
My mate's daily drive is a K reg with the S grille, and he's got another K reg sitting on his drive with an S grille.
His daily is just plain black, but the one on the drive is met blue has the tick graphic in purple and pink.
Yours must be an early '92 or a late '91... J reg is from 1st August 1991 to 31st July 1992
The K reg ones are late 92/early 93

Re: Still Confused
Come on guys when it comes to SJs we all know there is no standard, They might've found some old grills in a corner of the factory and thought 'shit we better use them up' plus it's a grill and we are talking about 20 odd year old cars! the first owner could have changed them 18 years ago

Yeah they probably just used whatever they had lying about. They are spanish after all!
Personally, I've never seen anything K reg or above with a SUZUKI grille! They're probably out there though!
I checked the aerials as well, all the L, M and N regs at my mates have the same windscreen mounted aerial.
Then again so does the F reg, the G reg and the 2 H regs!

Re: Still Confused
I also think the 410 front end is the best, i spent hours and hours getting mine to fit. Glad i decided to keep rather than going tube front end.
Re: Still Confused
You gotta love the 410 metal grill every sj I'm ever going to own will have one I've had 3 410s so far and I'm sure there will be more.
