I haven't got a clue how fast I was going but not as fast as I usually drive down that lane as the corner before it was quite slippy  maybe 20/30mph tops? if I was going any faster I don't think I would have made it around the corner at all  and probably ended up on my roof :?:

Nah jetta front ends are for jettas not golfs IMO

Cheers man :doublethumbs:

I have future plans for the sj engine anyway and the golf is gonna be fixed, it will live again :rockin:

That's a lot of dead bush for 20/30 mph. T'ain't so bad though. Should've had a bull bar on it, then you wouldn't have had that problem Scottie.

There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

 Mrs 4eye is right you bunch of bullies :thefinger: but yeah I was missing off-roading so thought I'd test the golf out, dont think its as good as the sj

All is good, neck is still a bit sore but I've just found a mk2 in the same colour that someone is breaking after getting hit in the side by a taxi so I should be paying him a visit next weekend if all goes to plan to buy the front end off him
