Looking at the ones on ebay, I don't think so!
The housings look a very wrong shape!

This one will fit though, it's my handy 1600 conversion starter :)

Please, if you do buy it though, swap it with a regular one with someone doing a 1600!
Gotta keep the starters on the suzukis, not on dirty Citroen XMs :lol:

hi twiss that starter motor looks like it has seen better days to be honest, i am in desperate need of a starter motor i have a vit 1.6 engine with the conversion plate and use a sj 5 speed box with sj clutch and ring gear will a vitara starter motor fit?

You need a skinny starter, which are in short supply nowadays!
Either that or you need a regular fat starter (from SJ or vitara, not carry) and grind the housing until it fits!!!

You can buy the one in that ebay link brand new for about £55 from Wood Auto

Also, have a look at the post anyway, the D6RA series are all interchangable, and they are fitted to so many different cars it's unbelievable!

i have the similair problem with my samurai its sag to the drivers side a bit someone mentioned the u bolts could need adjusting any help guys cheers mick :rhino:
