hi russ got up close and personal with your truck yesterday,went down rays with the son-in-law so had a nose around
was thinking of doin the same thing with my dash but wont now, dosent give as much space as i thought, hope its sorted and back in the dirt soon

yeah, all them effin screws were rounding off... needed to get to the wiper motor..... angle grinder.... if you have an SJ u need one. fact.
and yeah its back. been slindon and boxgrove a few times recently.
hmm pics..... shyte maybe not. means resizing everything.

DID YOU just cut a hole in thedash to get at the wiper motor?Ineed to do the same - was everything accessible when you cut the hole?

yeah hell.
its not pretty.
made not need to remove as much as i did.. as theres not 'chicken bar' now for my scared passengers.
but left me loads of room to rig up extra switched and chav tastic thing ma jigs.
my anus isnt pretty. never will be.
if i cant solve it with a hammer or an angle grinder i need an electrician or a welder :p

nearly done... sort them rear disc brakes out when kit arrives.... then build outer cage....

There's a guy in Brighton with one very similar as well I think, although I've only had a good look from the back, so would need to see the rear lights to tell!

the imposter IS the guy from brighton...
hes in the crawley 4x4 group. jamie tandoh.
the back of it has standard sj lamps that are mount too close together above tow ball.. lol
alot of checkerplate on it aswell....
if yuo go through some of my oldest photos on facebook. the albums of off roading from like end of 1008 you will see plenty.
