Drop sides salvageable?
If you end up scrapping the bed I could do with
A hinge plate. Mine fell off . Thankfully
My kja bed floor is very tidy. Just no
Arches after a vw golf destroyed one

If he doesn't fancy them then il bell you.
That tank was a bolt in sender too sorry.
It's all on hold until I can get a bed :(

This is how it is now outside my dad's workshop, il leave it like this until I find a bed, no point moving on till I have one.

Probably easier to keep and repair the sides
Then make a new bed using a box section frame
Chances of finding a decent bed are pretty slim.
That scruffy one on ebay was silly money.

Making one won't look nice enough for me, I'm fussey, il have to use a carry bed or rascal.
Only issue is super carries are £3k !!!
Yeh I wish I bought the one on eBay, though that wasn't a good one
Unsure what to do now, it's ended up costing me a lot to get not a lot out of it.
No ones fault this cars just very fucked.

Yep. Finding bodges is much worse than finding rot.
By a box frame I meant aprox a 30mm box frame at the same
Dimensions as the original with the original bed outter panels
And doors mounted to/ over it. It would look identical but would have
Stronger structure and cross braces and id used a 2mm flat floor.
After that you just have to make kja replica arches.
But I think youd have to do that on any kja. As they rot so bad.
I plan to use 3mm steel bar so I can bend it to make
A skeleton of the arch the fill in the gaps so I can match
The double curvature of the corner parts of the end panels.
If you ever watched American chopper they used a similar
Technic when fabbing bodywork.

These things are really old now. Seen quite a few front floorwells like that.
Just find a carry in a scrappy and use the whole bed.

I know mate, I know. I've a got a mint samruai il use to fix the cab.
The cabs missing both front body mounts, there in the chassis when I lifted it of I didn't unbolt them it was that rotten.
I'm struggling to find a carry anywhere, hence me asking for help in the other section.

looks better than my one was, front floorwells were rotted through right up to the height of the accelerator peddle on both sides, as well as the body mounts, and the front part of the sills, as well as the seam in the back of the cab. really hard to find good ones anywhere. good to see you are not giving up though, they're worth saving for sure!
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out
