The ride is better than before. The springs rebound much more quickly and it doesn't bounce and wallow around as much as it did before.

I know she needs a good wash, but it's cold outside and I'm a lazy bugger. Plus the dirt disguises the rust a bit....

I swear my bad luck is going to kill me one of these days.

A little bit of snow fell last night and I like to take photographs of snowy landscapes. On the way back from Uni at about half 12, I pulled over in a couple of field entrances to snap a few. The last one I stopped at, I slowed down, pulled up with my SJ to the side of the field entrance and got out, handbrake on and everything as you would. I'd walked round and had taken a couple of pictures when I hear my truck side forwards.

Turns out the passenger side wheel was on the edge of a rut and so she slid into it. Because I'd parked over to one side out of the way she slid into a little tree. The bull bar stood up to it, thankfully, but the bumper folded like paper.
SO, anyone got an SJ front bumper they could post me?

Again, might have one. If i do i'll be in scunthorpe in mid feb sometime? Again like i told dunnin. I need to check.

Still can't get hold of a bumper. I've tried about half a dozen people breaking SJs on eBay now.

Did you have any luck finding one in your spares Jordi?

I jumped out to take a photo once and heard my handbrake bang and watched my truck career down a hill backwards through some trees and into a river with my mate sat in the passenger seat.

His face was priceless and according to him so was mine.

Haven't had time to check yet. Was busy bodging mine up. I'll try and make it a priority for saterday.

Sorry, but that made me nearly wet myself. The fact that he was still in it.

I know a woman who drove an old 318 E36. Basic model, worn out and had to be bullshitted through it's MOTs. She plays trumpet for an orchestra and one night she was playing at a pantomime in Lincoln; "The city on the hill." She parked her beamer outside and five hours later when she came back out it was 50 yards away, tangled in some steel railings.

She drove it away as well, bumper hanging off and her tail lights buggered in the dark.
Patched it up with a bumper and lights from a scrapper for next to nothing and it went through one more MOT before it threw a rod.
