I still wish I had a spare £6k when Barry sheene's Lj80 popped up for sale :bawling: 26000 miles on the clock and in brand new condition as it has spent most of its life in a show room

It's beautiful! I really want to know where it has ended up? It should be parked in a room in my house

She lives again! With a mate's help we sorted out all the crap wiring on Piglet6 and after a month of just sitting there she fired up first turn of the key. Tyres were a bit low...14psi on 3 and 13 on another. Yikes. Will keep on eye on that. The second wiper motor is on but it still sticks, and I can't figure out how to change the linkage so I whipped off the inspection panels and have coated anything that moves in WD. It's still stiff so I will persevere lol. Piget5's coil has packed up but a new one will be in on monday then she goes up for sale. Will be sorry to see her go.

I remember seeing that Barry Sheene LJ at the Suzuki dealer a bit south of Crawley. It was like new, well worth £6k.

What a bastard of a day...got to the workshop and pressed the brake pedal (like you do) and nada! The servo has gone on Piglet6. Bollocks. And it's an LJ one I think...hoping a Vitara one can be made to fit as there is no way on earth new LJ ones are about. Then I got Piglet5 (blue one) finally running with a new coil, leads, dizzy and rotor arm. Hooray! Let it run for a while then it shut down and now won't start. Dodgy fuelling I think so I will investigate tomorrow. So glad I still have Piglet3!!

Does an LJ have a servo? the early 410s didn't.
