Well it now has lighting and a workbench which isn't fixed permanently but well enough to provide a bit more space while I'm still working on it.

Window is totally finished and is fixed into the frame till I get round to making hinges for it. No nice external pics as its always dark!

All the cladding is done and the door is built to the point that I can wedge it in the frame to keep wind and ran out.

Scavanged some 400mm steel pipe to use to make the arms for the internal hinges I am making and made up some steel parts on the lathe for the hinged end of the arms. The taller ones will be welded to the hinge arms and the shorter ones on a plate fixed to the shed with some bar passed through them to form a hinge.

There are many Strongbow shelves all round it. There are more on some of the others.

Got home in time for a quick snap in the light. Door will have same frame once its hinges are done.

Looks well tidy. Are you decking the floor around it or just seeing if grass can grow back?

Late reply on this.

Will be gravel around the base but that probably won't happen for a while now.

Door hinges are made. Door is totally finished and trimmed. Locking mechanism is sorted too but I'm not sticking photos of that on a public forum. Not that there's much room in there for anything worth securing now I've filled it with broken gearboxes and diffs! :hahaha:

You need one of those shop wind out awnings on the front for when it rains! Looks awesome man, good work. Have a feeling those hinges will out live the rest of it!

Nice work. Think the hinges may be a bit over engineered, I do hope to make use of those cider shelves at some point though.

Trust me that door isn't light! Got the weight of a locking mechanism on the unhinged side since photos were taken too remember.
