1988 Samurai - Truck Cab & Tray Back - 1.6 8v & HIF44 - Snorkel - Stack Exhaust - PAS, YJs & 33s - Trussed, Gusseted & Pumpkin Capped Axles - 4.3 R&Ps - 4.16 T/Box - Rear Air Locker - Full Float Back Axle & Discs - RCV Front Shafts - X-Eng Handbrake - Custom Fuel Tank

well.... few tiny bits of welding. found a couple small holes in the usual places in the foot wells and there is a patch to do on the rear door hinge.
bull bar and front and rear spots need goin on.
hammerite the interior floor.
rubber to go on the arches.
wheel spacers.
fag lighter for sat nav etc.
big metal storage box for the rear tub.
steam clean underneath and waxoil.
5 speed gbox in a few months.
gbox and tbox extended breathers.
thinkin of ditching the standard bumpers for maybe tubular? dunno im still toying with the idea. but defdo want led rear lights as they seem to be more reliable.
Basically im far from done

Sounds like a list of genuinely practical mods. Soon be on the road again and tearing the mud up!

I put a brand new temp sender in so the temp gauge should work? Worked fine when we had it? Was your SJ Spanish? if so fit the sender from the old engine it should be all new and shiny
I spent a long time getting that front bumper as straight as possible it was pretty bent when we got it

it's all good the weekend after i did it all my dad came along to the workshop with a mint front bumper so all is good, I won't be able to run one on the Lwb anyway as its gonna have 33s
