To be honest it's not really a good idea to drive SJs in fwd with the the rear prop removed anyway as the front output isn't amazingly strong.

However it shouldn't vibrate that badly.

As stated check everything mentioned, plus check the engine mounts, it's best to take the weight off the engine and physically remove the mounts to do this.

Can you post up some good clear pictures that show both ends of the propshaft in one picture.

Also when you split the prop shaft at the splines there's dots to line up to make sure it goes together as it was at the factory so that it is properly balanced, they can be 180* out so still in phase but slightly out of balance.

Is there any play in the front output on the tbox?

cheers scottie i will get back to the post in the morning and i had to get it back to my unit as my grandma was moaning it had ben there too long dint have much choice lol.
ill try my best in the photos and ill have a look if i can see any dots.
