Mine was just as sneaky, needed to drive 60 miles with a 410, got 1 days insurance, booked it in...drove home lol.

So the people trying to tell you that you can't drive to the MOT centre without an MOT are not bothering to check - they're just telling you what they believe the law should say, not what it actually says.The Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain wrote:You can’t drive your vehicle on the road if the MOT has expired. You could be prosecuted if caught.
The only exception is if you’ve already booked an MOT and are driving your vehicle to the test centre.
