Strange how you all seem to need so much force to fit poly bushes. I just used fairy liquid and pushed all the bushes in by hand.

Will give that a go then with the vice, just need to get the sleeves out if the polybushes somehow, hmm.. Will have a go at them this weekend and make sure my shocks are okay, if they're working properly ten I'll be cleaning them up and painting them red like the zuk :)..

Should be able to leave the sleeve in half the bush. Remove the shock and press the bush in from either side then refit the shock.

I didn't say how hard I hit them :thefinger: I always remove the sleeve lube them up and gently tap them in. Then tap the sleeve through and jobs a good'un :doublethumbs:

Thanks for the help guys, got to get the head stripped cleaned and valve reseated etc, she's not running 100% ever since I tried to tweak the carb to get the emissions right it seems to have lost its power and doesn't pull away as quick as she did before, will need to have a week off to do my clutch, 5speed, engine overhaul etc..
