It was raining last night so I will try again tonite.
I've borrowed a volt meter and I'll check all I can.
Kev, thanks for the offer but I'm in Pembrokeshire, near Tenby, too far away.

YIPPPEEEEEE Its all sorted.
Thanks guys for all of your help.
It was a connection where the loom goes through the bulkhead on the near side, seems like a lot of work for a two minute job !! Just cleaned up the earth and all was OK.
MOT on Thursday, I'll let you know how I get on.
