Can't remember what brand my current 063 is but my Zook was the only vehicle on my drive that would start after 3 weeks away.
Im pretty sure my optima would be able to restart the sun after 3 weeks on inactivity

Halfrauds i like that. They do sell some good stuff but as long as it insnt made by them its fine. Having said that though my 2 tone jack works a treat but my battery charger melted.

Scottie - isn't Numax your favourite? I can't remember
All Optima's are made in Mexico now as far as I'm aware.
Odyssey are really good but darn expensive
And Yes I like Numax, Never had an issue with one.
My nnext battery will be this, when I eventually get around to buying it
http://www.tayna.co.uk/Numax-CXV-X-1000-Amp-P7632.html I really don't think you'll find a better battery for the price!
As for Hlafords, the only thing worth buying from there are tools when they are in the sale. everything else is crap, overpriced or both.

yeah they are and have been for some time.... there are some older batches hanging about though, and you can sometimes get them quite cheap second hand.
People seem to let them go flat and then think they are completely dead...
My one lived in a cupboard in someone's house for at least 18 months... charged it up and it's been flawless since then!
Obviously depends on the individual battery though!

see ive always had bad luck with numax, tried a few and they just didnt last. at least with the ones at work they have a two year warranty that I can sort out as soon as it goes.
