Yeah true where would I get them from llama 4x4?Jordi wrote:I think you are over flexing your springs and its causing the shackle the over rotate and wedge.
On 3" lift i would recommend some +50mm bump stops and some +10/20mm shackles to allow the spring a bit more length on full flex.

Only shackles i've seen for sale are 2" longer (far, far too long). Easier way is to get some plate and bolts and make some. Bump stops can be extended with some box section.TomBod08 wrote:Yeah true where would I get them from llama 4x4?Jordi wrote:I think you are over flexing your springs and its causing the shackle the over rotate and wedge.

I'm stumped then, the rears look too short to me... Are they catching on the shackle stop bar? I had a photo somewhere of when I put rears on the front of mine and that's exactly what they looked like. I don't think you have over flexed as being a spring it should push back to its origional position. (Well you would think)TomBod08 wrote:I just measured them again and the ones at the back are definitely longer than the front ones, only by a couple of inches though.
I know it's like the front ones are a couple of inches too long. I've had no problems with the back springs, but I know where your coming from.Henry wrote:I'm stumped then, the rears look too short to me... Are they catching on the shackle stop bar? andyrew wrote:Ive got three inch springs. And I think is going to be a issue on mine.
Im assuming that with the 3 inch lift the top spring leaf has to be slightly
Longer due to the curve of the spring.
If its an issue im thinking of re drilling the fixed mount eyelet and letting
The spring move back slightly. And possibly adding a few mm to the front shackle.
