You can get halogens to fit the SJ unit.
You can also drill a hole in the back and fit sidelights if you wish.

All mk1 and mk2 golf headlights should have the special shaped hole in them for clip in sidelight bulb holders, much better than drilling a hole and bodging in some sidelights from previous experience :lol:

These fitted well when we did a lorries roof lights.

No bodging required :poke:

hmm where did you get them? might come in handy for using in the indicators for my central locking, ive been told that the indicators on an SJ are wired awkwardly so you cant just tap into the hazard switch for the flash on unlocking and locking...

If the central locking unit only has one signal wire it can be a problem. But if you connect it to one side it will still show you it's locked/open.

I couple of diodes would sort it though, so both sides light up.

Ah push fit rubbery ones :lol: yeah that would work better than plastic ones siliconed in :hahaha:

Its OK I'm not insulted :thefinger: , my jetta angel eyes were the cheapest on ebay and i think they look good :tongue:

They were real easy to fit just had to drill and weld captive nuts for the adjusters

Haha will have a look for Hera ones then If they're cheaper, just want something that looks newer and nicer..
