Like everyone else has said, you don't need much.

To be honest, my truck is heavily modified but the only thing that makes a big difference to it's offroad capability is the tyres. Get a decent set of tyres (second hand ones with loads of life come up all the tim), make a set of axle breathers (cheap) and then worry about the rest later on.

You'll be astonished where you can go even in a standard truck!

thanks for all the replies you all seem to know your stuff and im sure in future if there's ever a problem i know where to come :salute: all good advice and im looking forward to buying myself an sj and getting muddy :doublethumbs:
