right had some progress today, had a play around with the air/fuel mixture screw and still nothing. so i removed the air filter took it for a run and boom the missfire/bogging had gone so whacked a cone filter on it went for a drive checked plug colour ect and tuned carb to plug colour all seems good. still not perfect and the carb had a yellow spring in it. but still drivable now.
