my sj didnt come with any of the underside stereo/12v socket etc so instead i made an aluminium sheet that sits infront of the transfer lever and underneath the heater controls, ill find you a picture. It has a cut out for the gear lever, hosts the switches for radio and front fogs, holds my CB mic, 12v socket and remote for the stereo (magic bit of velcro ;) ) all rivited in and painted red!

Ok so got my 1.3 in, both engine mounts had to come off, but before I weld up the new ones I need advice. As this engine and gear box are longer than my old one the gear lever sits really far back, do I move the gear box mount and get a longer drive shaft to shift the whole thing forward, or just accepted that my gear lever is going to sit further back? Also I can't tell if the drive shaft has gone far enough into the gear box or not, does that look about right?
