That was another option Tom, pirtek or any local hydraulic pipe manufacturer. Get a custom pipe made properly.

Yeah i got a rough quote for mine for cash and i though it wernt to bad considering how long they was going to be!

Not too bad then. I'll take a look tomorrow. If i can find suitable unions like we use on the copper brake lines i may try cutting and flaring the existing pipes.

It all goes wrong and i lose my PAS fluid. I can't imagine the screw in copper fittings to be any weaker than the original fittings.
