Not to poo on your parade or anything, but what you have just made and shown to the world is a section one firearm.
Stupid I know, but thats going to be putting out more than 12 foot pounds of energy.
Posession of an illegal section one firearm is punishable by up to 5 years at her majesty's pleasure.
So having read this I know you will instantly take it apart and never use it again, will you?

Ah, didn't notice he was in NZ. To be honest I don't know their firearms laws but that would be illegal in Aus.

That's exactly what I will say
I'm not sure if it's legal, but I'll just keep hiding it untill I really need it. I was thinking tonight, I should get some capacitors that fit snugly in the barrel, charge them at 230 volts, and shoot them, would be the most lethal ever, it will be an air taser

I think if you launched a 12mm steel ball bearing at someone it would give them a shock with no need for electricity!
