my car from when I got it to now and a big thanks to jordi

Yep, top ones are the worst asell, one got right to the end and jammed up tight, if I had a compressor id just gun them off but nothing like that at the moment,

might just have to force them off and bin the steps but id rather not as if I sell the steps and bull bars they can go towards some new front brakes

I had the same prob with my Vit...in the end after going down the WD40 route and some heat a mate had a go with his compressor...only 1 bolt sheared and they came off a treat.
If it ticks over...leave it

Yea hopefully il have a job to start soon so il have all the tools I need, I just wanted them off sooner rather than later. I might have another go tomorrow and clean them up properly first.

What I have occasionally done is to take a spare nut and fit it on a junior hacksaw and cut grooves in it.
I have then wound this nut down the threads to clean all the rust off before undoing the fixing nut.
This works quite well as the rust has grooves to go into and does not jam up straight away.
A bit crude but it works! wd40 at the same time helps wash the crap away.

A top quality diagram on a post-it note :D

If you don't have a diagram, make one. :hahaha:
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
