Ye sj are simple to work on I'm 17 and I have just restored my sj e.g it was a reck had to swap engines axles and a lot of welding took me a year
make sure u get a sj with an mot
Naw I can do things twice as fast

Welcome Lachlo! Met you the other week on your tour of the country. I was one of them dodgy welsh fellas you met in Swansea. So who's this Talented bloke you talk of ? Main thing to look for when buying an SJ is rust! If you want it on the road buy the most solid one you can find, or get good with a welder. Alternatively stick it on the trailer! Rest of the parts are relatively easy to modify, You'll have a lot of fun and not spend too much cash.

Fekkin brilliant!!!!. How ya doin Sam? Didn't know you were into Sj's. I'll be popping by your gaff in the summer so that you can put a bastard lexus v8 in my truck. I'll be picking your brains about SJ's so best get the kettle on.

Oh and by the way, you are my new best friend. Ha ha.

yup, yours should be the third or even 4th Lexus Hilux to leave our place. Cant believe you didn't spot my S.J. Big red one in my Yard. Hard to miss, suppose your were pretty knackered though.
