Heres a couple of pics of mine. I used a Jimny steering box in the end, as the wedge i made looked like crap and was only fit for the bin  .

nice one, i just wanted to see how the belt went, ive bought the bracket, pump and pipes, just waiting for them to come, im on the hunt for a jimny box and a belt.

Cheers for the pics.

Is it a standard belt, there seems to be loads on ebay.

No the standard belt is to big and the pump hits the chassis before the belt is tight. I had to chop some off the bracket so the pullys would be closer together and then bought a much smaller belt.

There is a couple of Jimny box's on ebay, i know there around £100 but thats pretty much the going rate unfortunately. Thats about what i payed for mine. Or you can get a vit one for about £10 but then you have to make a wedge and adjust your radiator bracket.

i havent got both of them just ive miss typed it  , there is a vit up there with it still in its just missing the pully and some of the pipe work as i needed the pipe work for mine (because the other vit i got all mine from was perfect apart from so nob cut all the pipes)

BUT the other vit up there still has the steering box , pump , and the resivor/pot but that is full of water and missing its lid

so im guessing that the jimny steering box bolts straight to the chassis with no mods and the jimny pump bolts to the engine block with no mods? and does anyone know if you can get a V belt pully to fit on the power steering pump?
