Yeah Luke, its not like me to just get rid of 300cc!!! If anything I will be converting this engine to a swift head if I can find one! I will be happy just having an extra 8 valves for now!!!

Tim has very kindly left me an oil cooler attachment on the engine so I will be investing in an oil cooler as well!

Plan is:
Install engine and get it running
Locate GTi head... and install
Find turbo and install

I had forgotten about the oil cooler, I fitted it as insurance if the rad got partly blocked. I always think it is better to keep the oil running cool than transfer that heat to the water and on through the rad. Fittings are 1/2" BSP, I bought the hoses through Lama 4x4, the cooler was from alisport as I do not trust ebay Chinese copies! I don't know what rad you have fitted, it worked fine with the 1300 rad but I felt a lot happier with a vitara rad, it is tight fitting one with P/S but it will go in. I left the oil filter on so that you could get the part numbers off it, it is the largest I could fit without hitting the chassis, the short Suzuki one is very small.

Yeah I think I will definitely put a cooler on it... I suffer from blocked radiator syndrome all too often!!!
Its a good point about getting a decent cooler, don't want to suddenly lose all oil!!!!
