Re: help please
I would recommend a facet pump as well, they're only £30

Re: help please
well finally got some time this evening to try some tinkering on the truck turns out the fuel pump is fine i tested it by put a smaller piece of fuel pipe on the inlet nozzle and the other end of the pipe in a jar of fuel turned it over started beautifully first turn and sucked down the jar of fuel just fine and was running fine

Re: help please
First of all i would check the power supply to the solenoid/fuel cut off valve on the carb if one is fitted. Put a +ve feed from battery straight to the solenoid wire and just touch it on and off and you should hear it click when you touch wire if its working. Then i would check the carb where the fuel line goes in. Some have a gauze there that blocks sometimes. Have you tried staring it since?

Re: help please
I know the breakdown guy used compressed air to push fuel to the pump so this it considered clear, but then why does it run from a jar of fuel
I wouldn't expect the pump to create much suction so maybe there is a restriction in the fuel line, is the filter on the chassis ok. If it hasn't been changed for some time it may be worth bunging a new one on, you don't need to buy a genuine suzuki filter as lots of brands do copies for about a fiver.
