Remove the black/white wire from alternator and isolate. The white/yellow wire connect to either large spade connector on alternator
Red/white connect as before , small spade connector on alternator.
Give this a go.........

i thought the red/white was for battery light, i think i sussed it i found a relay on the floor which my mate cut off from around the battery so i conected that to one of the yellow/white and then to the black/white and it seems to work still have nothing on red/white though and battery light wont work

Re: maybe Someone can help fog/alternator/dash clock
I assume this is a normal jap headlight circuit but shows the foglight earth coming from a choice of 2 places. One would allow the foglight to work when the headlights are on and the other would allow the headlights to work only on low beam. I have still been searching for a spanish wiring diagram but the only diagram I can find showing positive switched lighting is in a german samurai manual here.ScottieJ wrote:I think in they do use the red and white for the fog in the Spanish wiring though darrell? Problem is I can't find a Spanish wiring diagram anywhere, I pm'd you earlier as in this image you have posted before it shows it
Have you got a circuit diagram for the fog light that goes with this set up?

Extracting the headlight circuit from that manual gives you this.........Sorry best I can find Scott.
Looks old though, with a dynamo instead of an alternator and just a few fuses.
Tinterweb and can't find a soddin spanish diagram
