i was up you way a couple off weeks ago if had known then i would hae been round, im in swanage so its a bit of a trip.
is the engine in the car? if it is it wont be easy to grind, if its not its real easy

That one i gave you the part number for won't need grinding, should go straight on.
86 SJ413 tin top, 1.6 8v, SU carb, YJ spring conversion, virtual lift, 33x12.5x15 KL71's, rocklobster, rear discs, power steering.

I found my spare base for the starter... You could swap the motor and solenoid on it so it will fit.

I got a D6RA62, would your base FIT ??? and i can use the motor and the solenoid???
I sent the starter back to wood Auto and they charged me 15%
All i want is a starter to bolt on
