I have new front leaf springs.

I sadly, being away at university do not have any jacks or axel stands. All I have is a bottle Jack.

Is it possible to change the front leaf springs with a bottle jack and a socket set? Im thinking Not! I don't want to become crushed.

Anyone near Coventry fancy doing a leaf spring change/lending me some tools?
If not will wait 7 weeks and have a whole 2 months to do them :)

Spare wheels and blocks of wood are a good substitute for axle stands :guns: .

Sometimes you also need a angle grinder and some new bolts

I have neither at my house at uni. Although I think I have some scaffolding in the garden. Will come up with a plan. Think I had best purchase some new bolts before I change them

When replacing the old or perished rubber bushes on the road springs. BEWARE the RED poly bushes (see picture).
The RED's allow the spring to slop about on the hangers.
Use the ORANGE ONES as the orange ones keep everthing tight.
