Just unplug it.
Check to see if the rear fog light still works.

Darrel thanks for that, I have major issues with the wiring next to this all being cut, there are three relays, two normal relays and one which would appear to be a doulble one, have you any ideas what they are for. Further more, the picture you have posted has a blue wire in it where does that go?
Is there any chance of a couple more pictures showing the wiring between the dim dip unit and the fuse box please.

That photo is just one I saved off difflock a long time ago, so have no idea what the blue wire is.
Here is a wiring diagram with the dip-dim unit on it.
Those relays could run anything. Do you have extra lights/air horns or any other high load goodies.

Hi thanks for that, is that the unit markedrunning lightes for Finnish market on the last drawing on the far right

I've often wondered that, but I've never actually seen the wire colours coming from the dip-dim unit, only the wire colours from the diagram.

Edit- been studying the diagram and it is not like the dip-dim wiring fitted to the Spanish model.
