I can only think a few ways to -possibly- come up with the capacity. First would be to have it officially measured, with could be done via. the bore and/or crank distance, or you sit it next to another SJ and compare noises/engine response.....Though that's a bit hit 'n' miss. Fuel economy is a possible, though I think that that's dubious again.
You could examine the t-box ratio, but if the gearbox is wrong the t-box might be too.
Hand brake? Rear shaft or rear drums?
Do you have a servo?
Front ARB?
But if the vehicle has been fiddled these might not be valid either.
Nice 'n' vague. Perfect.

But then the wings do look remarkably "un samuari".
Oh well if it starts and goes, who cares

Nice colour! they're 410 front wings, there's no side repeaters, its just had Sammy badges put where the side repeaters go. Can we have a photo of the engine bay and the front of the chassis please. Sounds like someone might've just fitted some Sammy number plates to a 410
The vin plate should be in the drivers side footwell, between the speaker hole and door. I would check all the details match your v5?

Or just look on the side of the bell housing to see what it says ?
Its easy to tell a 1.0 from a 1.3.
This is a 1.3
This is 1.0
Im almost 100% sure that there is no such this as a 4spd 1.3.
