An idea has just hit me in the head like a brick. Could it be that it's something connectin the steering wheel to the rack? i.e. if you turn the wheel left and right, is there a gap between the wheels turning where the steering wheel is loose and not doing anything. I know I haven't explained it well, but I hope you can kinda work out what I mean.

have you still not cured it Tony :shock: I doubt it but there HAS to be something you've missed or overlooked????

now the season has ended i will get back to it..

the only thigs that are original on the front is the brake discs..so there going next.

i will have to get back in touch with phill (fool) to see if he has kept the axel and chassis for me..been to buisy to get near it..

did you say you have checked/replaced you lift shackles?

this is what was causing mine. the king pins was just making it worse.

if you still cant fine it see if you can get it on a automated flat ramp (for mot's) as these can really shake the car about and bring up all sorts that you may not normally see
