Picked up the discovery chassis mid week, looks to be just what i need,
I figure it will be a lot less work to just remount the engine than swap all the suspension ect.
I have also spent the majority of today getting my head round the immobilisers on the fuel pump, and after lots of head scratching the engine ran for a few seconds

Spent a few hours this morning stripping down the chassis.

Well, if it were me, I'd go for the V8, purely because they sound so good.

do you need an zf auto box and transfer box??? we have a few in the workshop

That is what i would need, but would need torque converter too. and to be honest im nt sure what i replace clutch with
