Well I have had abit of time to play on my SJ and organise the garage today! yaaaaay
almost ready for its MOT now, sorted the brakes thanks to scottiej410, just a couple of things to get done now! here is a snap shot of her with her new shoes on on the front, may have to take them off for the MOT as they rub on full lock, and one of them to go on the back has a puncture so that needs fixing aswell! she will be running greenway machos 30/9.5R15's the back is the standard 215/75R15

carnut, if you have the file saved to your computer, there is a box below the dialog box you write in 'upload attachments' click on the 'Browse...' buton click that then find the file on your computer open it then click on 'add the file' button the image on your comp needs to be a jpeg file.
urbanzook, i was thinking spacers, but looking at the wheels im going to put the tyres on I may try tapering the bolt holes on the inside and reversing them as on the outside round the bolt holes it is nice and flat, so would sit flush against the hub.

.. what I think is.. if you lift up the body more and give more space among the tyres it will be great..
well, you should trying to drive it with high position.. like urbanzook's.. it's will give you new perspective about driving a zuk..
good job Dan..

body lift wont stop them rubbing on the springs, spacers will but the wheel will hit your outer arch
instead off going under when you articulate so you will need a body lift to stop that,
off set rims are a good way to go as the change in the off set is not much an you shod not need any other mod
to fit them, reversing your rim is not a good one as where you will need to taper the holes to fit your lug nut on
it will be come a weak point an may pull throw. ow an your valve will be on the in side big pain an will hit you calliper
till it snaps an lets all you air out.

I ahve looked at reversing my rims but they catch on the brake calipers, so i may soon be on the market for a set of spacers!
She went for her MOT today, and failed again, but not to bad this time, the bulb on the side repeater has blow, the rear n/s caliper is binding again, so that is going to be striped and rebuilt and my emisions are abit out on the hydrocarbons, they are double what i am allowed although my Co2 emisions are quite low, so i am going to have to spend some time tinkering with the settings!

trotter had his wheels reversed and kept ripping valves out in ruts. Not a good idea for a serious off roader.
My tyres rub the springs at full lock but mr mot must not have noticed. I think the place i take mine is a bit lax. Ive heard of loads of people fail on things i get away with!
