On a different note!, can you bend tube?. i need a new winch bumper and front wing gaurd made up. can you pm me your number.

i know it's a sad excuse to post but i bent this up in the front garden.with a cheapo sealy bender.

thats the whole cage + bumpers.

if you have the tube then i can give you a hand but i only have a clarke copy pipe bender,it will be ok once ive packed the dies out to fit the pipe.carnut where do you live

Well finally got my self a mig 8-) Its a parweld 170A. I havent tryed it yet so not sure if its any good or not, but im sure it sould be more than capable of patching in the sj.

Just got to get some gas at the weekend, and the learning process can begin.

should be fine for your bodywork...probably won't be much cop for heavyer work 8-)...silly question(or not)do you have a shield? if not you can borrow my home 1...its reactive so it makes life a little easier(if it still work)...I've got new lenses for it so should suite your needs :smoke:

what? should be fine for up to 6mm once he knows how to prep and weld,euro torch as well nice.how much did you pay for it.as for a lid go on ebay and buy a auto one for about £35

Cheers guys. I did get a auto darkening sheid with it, so im pretty much ready to go....just need to get some gas, which i will try and sort out at the weekend.

After loosing out on a few on ebay :roll: I got it from weldequip from http://www.mig-welding.co.uk Its quite a useful site for learning to weld.
