Yes it's the Bolton Upon Dearne viaduct in Rotherham, my partners field is a few 100m away! Yes with the current situation looks like it's going to be a while before we'll be heading to the coast anytime soon.

Some nice walks around there it's by the Pennine Trial so you can travel for miles plenty of different routes to go at.

Very handy during the present strange times - we are lucky enough to have a lovely river walk close by - when the ground is not saturated

Just to catch up a little on our Suzi's year,just after the last MOT in the spring I replaced the rear springs and shocks after an MOT 'Advisory' from a friendly MOT'r .
During the Summer I replaced the Cambelt/Water Pump/Tensioner and Aux Belts as I could find no record of them ever being done - it looked like it had been changed at some point but no record,reciept or sticker etc.
During the last drive there was a hint of braking instability,pulling,snaking etc so yesterday (because the sun was out ) I removed both front calipers and cleaned up the metal parts of the Pads and also the Pad Carriers - hopefully that will have 'fixed' it as both sides were well stuck in with rust and road/brake dust.

Just MOT'd the old Vitara again - she only failed on a broken front spring - which I got the garage to replace as I am a bit crocked at the moment.
Advisories for corroded cat and pipe (which I knew about - still the original Suzuki Exhaust) and also deteriorated front outer drive shaft boots,I will do the exhaust and boots during 'summer' LOL.
Last month we took the old girl up to the N of Scotland and booked a cottage just north of inverness to use as a base for some day trips etc.

We have now owned this little beauty for 5 years
I noticed the other day that the O/S front disc on our 05 G Vitara was not being 'swept' as fully/cleanly by the brake pads compared to the other side (plenty of pad left),we drove up to Montrose Air Station museo on saturday (sunny ) and on the way back I asked my OH to do some heavyish braking to clean the brake disc - I also noticed she was automatically counter steering slightly during braking (subtly).
With MOT being done today I therefore removed the wheel yesterday and found a completely siezed Slide Pin (lower pin was ok),spent an hour with a spanner and hammer/wd40 before finally being able to remove it ,cleaned up the pin and the 'hole' and refitted the pin/boot wiv some brake grease.
After that I polished the U/V crud off the headlights (they are sparkly clear again now ) and replaced a wiper blade.

Just passed MOT OK with only 1 minor advisory (slight corrosion on back box) - so well pleased with that
