That moment . . .
Re: That moment . . .
I can laugh about it now !
Last time I done something similar was in my first
Car. It was delocked and de handled so the doors where powered
By a crappy remote switch that would turn on the buttons
By the door mirrors to pop open the doors. I left the remote on the
Dash when I dropped the car of to have something fixed.
Had to go in and borrow a hammer to put the window through.
I'm not a dumb ass all the time. . .

Re: That moment . . .
I wish it had been the zuk.
With a bit of a wiggle I can use a house key to open
The door. 130k miles of use has worn it out. I use to
Be able to pull the ignition key out when the car was running

Well. The new handle has arrived so
Sunday I'll be fighting with a slight hangover
And the door card with some of vauxhalls
80s finest plastic clips.
Then it's onto the heater matrix. Which is apparently
A dash out job on a manual and easy on an auto.
So guess what one mine is?

Re: That moment . . .
I had a Renault 5 for my first car where you could lift the handle and push the lock down to save using the key.
Got out outside a busy shop to run in and grab something and instinctively did it.
Sat there with the keys in the ignition, running, locked.
Didn't have my phone on me so had to sprint home to get the spare and hope it was still there when I got back.
