Been really busy with work over the past few weeks so not to much to report on,

Managed to get myself a full set of Subaru wrx seats for £30, I dont need the rears but they were part of the deal anyway.

Fitted my my lift kit witch is a clash of all manufacturers, merc front springs, focus estate rear, Astra gte shocks and a set of front strut spacers. Just need diff droppers and helm spacers

And just got a front steel bumper and a rmd front diff/sump guard for £60

Done some small bits of prepping on the body ready for painting but I need my box section sills welding on before I go to mad with paint.

A few pictures in no particular order.

Popped down the garage for a hour earlier, nothing to report really, just a picture of the truck with my hooligan child stood next to it.

Small update for those who might be interested,

Me and my boy Been prepping pannels, removing parts, rust treating, and generally messing about with the truck when I've had a little spare time

Bought a proper winch bumper off a old friend for cheap so the one that I was going to fit to the front is now going to be welded to the back.

Welding should be getting done next week so then I can get on with painting it up and getting out in some mud .

How big is the winch? Always a good idea to have a heavy one at the back, balances out the car better. Sprog looks quite handy with a spanner lol

Cheers lads

My little man loves working on the truck with me, I can let him go mad on this one, I wont let him near my vw haha!

I thought while I think of it ill get as much done as possible and also get to know the truck a little better, its still got a mot until march but I know it wont pass another and I cant be dealing with that if I'm right into it haha

And I haven't got a winch yet, waiting for something to come along!

Got a little more done on the Vitara last night.

Grinded the old lugs off the rest bumper so I can fit it flush to the back and painted it up, tidyed up the front bumper and painted that too.

Also sprayed the grille up.

Spent a few hours on the vit this morning.

Managed to get the front bumper pn and bolted up properly, on down side was I had to butcher the front grille due to how the mounts sat to the chassis, not a massive problem but was unexpected.

After that I fitted up the bonnet and a few other bits I've sprayed.

Still haven't had the welding done, my father in law is going to do it as he keeps saying but time is not working in his favor at the moment.

I also got the front doors prepped and sprayed this evening between working on my van.
