It sounds more like a new disc isn't on true. Not for concentricity, but axial run out, as if some dirt is behind the disc when fitted.

Tbh I think the Sj suspension would be worse rather than better...
When I had my last bout of brutal wheel wobble I replaced and checked everything.
Put my new tyres on and the wobble completely disappeared...
Stuck the same wheels and tyres on my friends vitara and there was no wobble whatsoever.
Personally I don't trust any mechanic not to fuck something up nowadays... Especially a chain of mechanics even if they are well known like ATS...
Too many bad experiences

Hmm I wander if there's some dirt on the back of the spacers, I'll check that before I go stripping the brakes down, will make sure the extended studs are tightened properly too, if it's not that I'll go further and remove the disks and clean everything

The ATS round the corner from me are very good, had the SJ MOT'd there twice and had them do the tracking on it and they put my 31's on for me, the only small garage I do trust, wouldn't go to any other ATS, anything my GV needs now I'll either do it myself or if it's a bigger job then I'll have suzuki do it, I'm going to get it serviced at suzuki every year to get a service history built up and do a basic oil and filter change inbetween, also need a new battery now I think as the voltage was low yesterday and it didn't want to start, started first time today though but with 11.7v in the battery before I started it...

Thinking about getting a yellow top but they're very expensive...

Funnily enough Suzuki are the last place I would take mine.
They have trouble finding the correct parts and if anyone should be able to its them.
Its not exactly a difficult job to take the discs off and check behind them. I would get in there and check everything before deciding its the type of spacer when many people run them with no brake judder

Tbh there's not much point in a "suzuki" service history that starts 10years into a cars life

An optima yellow top is not a Starting battery. Personally I don't think Optimas are worth the money anyway. Not many people I know have had much luck with them when bought new, the old ones were good...new ones not so much.

Yeah as Scottie says yellow tops are more for long term power rather than cranking... Better for use as a power supply for either winching or your caravan.
I've got an early optima red top and can't fault it... It was completely flat for 12 months before I acquired it... Charged it up for 12 or so hours and only had to charge it once in the last 3 years I think... Was my own fault as I left the lights on for 2 days haha
The giveaway is whether is says manufactured or distributed in the USA... Distributed = Mexican crap

Yer I'll check it over before buying another set, the yellow tops I've found say they're starting and deep cycle, the red top say they're just starting

I don't want to buy one and find they're pointless, will look for an older version on eBay if one pops up

I'm going to ring suzuki and ask them if they have any previous service history of it, it should all be on their system so hopefully if they have any history of it they'll either email it to me or print it out for me, the engine runs really nice now and the guy at suzuki told me everything is perfect on it cause he done a full engine diagnostics on it to find that scottspec autos made a right balls up of it...

The equivalent yellow top for my red top is 55ah/750a...
Mine is 50ah/800a

Most of the time in the car when you are using the electrics you are driving so the alternator is providing the juice. Also you have a bigger engine than most of us... Takes more to crank it over

The question is how do you know ATS are good? Doesn't exactly take a genius to do an MOT or use a tyre machine.
They could have got some temp or work experience kid to do it

Interesting? Optima never used to say the yellow top should be used for starting. Now they do?

Either way I wouldn't put an optima near any car of mine nowadays. They only make them in Mexico now.
